To embody wellness means that you’re taking control of your health, your wellbeing, and ultimately your life. For some of us, this is easier said than done, and more often than not we need someone to rely on. We need someone to guide us, give us correct information, cheer us on, hold us accountable for our lifestyle choices, and sometimes (quite literally) hold our hand. We need a friend we can count on.

For that, I am here for you.

So what are Wellness Sessions? Wellness Sessions are one-on-one consultations with me, Mamie, that focus on bringing your body, mind, and spirit back into the natural state of harmony with nature. This is the culmination of years of study and formal training in clinical herbalism, Ayurveda, and other traditional systems of healing. Together, we will work to eradicate the cause of dis-ease, not just the symptoms through herbal medicine, Ayurvedic lifestyle recommendations, and the concept of Food as Medicine.

These are longer, more in depth consultations than the Ayurvedic Pulse Readings that can be done in-person (if so, pulse readings will be a part of these sessions) or remotely through Skype or Zoom.

The goal of these sessions is to encourage you on the journey to wholeness while providing you with the tools you need to become fully empowered in your own health and wellbeing.

Wellness Sessions will set the foundation for heart felt advice while synthesizing tried and true traditional wisdom and remedies with scientifically researched information and methods.

What to expect...

These sessions are offered both in person and remotely through Zoom. Each session will be between 1.5 and 2 hours long with followup appointments lasting about 45 minutes, on average. To ensure that our time together is the most beneficial to both parties and the herbs and recommendations are serving you to the highest degree, I highly recommend follow up sessions. I will send you a detailed intake form before our official appointment to provide a clearer picture of what we will be working on. Together, we will go over your overall history, current health situation, your wellness goals and desires, lifestyle, nutrition choices, etc. From here, we will put together a personalized wellness plan that will benefit you most in the short term and long term. This wellness plan will include integration material that will help keep you on track and inspire you long after our time together. Clinical Consultations can be used as your main source of health guidance or added to an existing protocol with a primary care physician.
